An Update on A400M Testing, May 2013
As of May 2013, the A400M flight tests have accumulated over 5,051 flight hours across various missions, demonstrating the aircraft's capabilities in diverse conditions, including extreme weather and military operations. Key achievements include successful tests for air-to-air refueling, airdrop operations, and cargo loading/unloading, alongside compliance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements. The A400M is progressing towards the certification and delivery of subsequent aircraft to military customers, with ongoing evaluations and demonstrations planned.
