Banks and FIs may take the following CSR initiatives for country-wide
women empowerment:
1. Support to female education through financial assistance/stipend;
2. Skill development programs for unskilled women;
3. Supply of equipment to the trained women for self-employment;
4. Financial support to women for a start-up;
5. Food, shelter and on-hands training to helpless/vulnerable women;
6. Financial assistance/concessional credit to women without collateral;
