This document discusses a proposed three-port bidirectional DC-DC converter for photovoltaic systems with energy storage. The converter uses an inductor-capacitor-inductor resonant circuit to achieve zero-current switching and reduce losses. It integrates a photovoltaic panel, battery storage, and load. A maximum power point tracking algorithm controls the photovoltaic panel and a charge/discharge controller manages the battery to provide or absorb surplus power. The converter aims to improve efficiency through lower component counts and voltage stresses compared to separate converters for each power source.
