The main gas valve is on the west side and the electrical panel is in the basement. The building has manual fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems. Hazards include basement doors with limited access. Incident objectives are to ensure safety of occupants and personnel, property conservation, and early request of additional resources.

Building
• Provide accountability for personnel entering and leaving
each building, secure a means of access and egress of
upper floors as well as other buildings.
• Provide life safety for those in the immediate fire area.
Predicted on construction features, extent of fire and
available manpower, make a decision as to evacuation
needs above the fire floor if necessary.
• Provide exposure protection.
• Provide a continuous water supply for fire suppression.
• Establish a safety perimeter around the fire building (200 ft
min)
• Provide medical triage station for any injured persons.
• Provide for the rehabilitation of personnel involved.
