Early humans evolved from using simple found tools to creating complex tools like bows and arrows. Homo habilis created the first stone tools called Oldowan tools by banging stones together. Later species like Homo erectus developed more advanced tool making techniques and created hand axes and knives. Homo sapiens invented fishing tools, needles, bows and arrows, and used bone, wood and antlers to create a wide range of tools for hunting and daily life. Modern humans Homo sapiens sapiens now use advanced tools for farming, technology, and other applications.
