Summary Profile
I have over fifteen years senior management and senior consultancy
experience of leading very complex projects in many high profile and complex
public sector services from initial briefs, proposals, financial and service
options modelling, strategy management, risk and due diligence, budget and
performance analysis, and presentation to successful contract close stage
and post transfer evaluation, for projects in excess of £100m ranging from 5
years to 30 year contracts.
I have provided financial support, modelling and advice to many complex
demand led services. They included, Service reconfigurations, setting up
special vehicle companies, joint ventures, shared services, outsourcing and
insourcing contracts, PFI contracts and other PPP contracts. Other local
government managers have visited the projects I have led to learn from my
success, they included managers from London Borough of Waltham Forest to
learn from the successful Joint venture project for schools cleaning and
catering services which I led in LB of Enfield.
I was a consultant advising Leaner Programme Boards in LB of Enfield and
lead many service improvement projects in LB of Hackney, LB of Camden, LB
of Hillingdon, Oxfordshire County Council etc.
I have a proven track record of building and developing effective client and
stakeholder relationship management experience in challenging business
transformation projects. It would be evident from the projects I give below that
I have the necessary management, leadership and analytical skills, training
(including Prince 2), competencies. I have the added advantage of gaining
experiences of complex bid evaluations (+£100m) and also complex bid
submission and presentations.
I am a very experienced project and people manager. I have developed and
embedded methodical modelling and analytical frameworks for continuous
service improvements. I have strong planning, reporting and analytical skills to
enable effective decision making. I am an effective communicator with strong
problem solving skills. I am passionate about achieving results, influencing
people to raise their standards and seeing teams perform to its highest
potential whilst encouraging and developing mechanisms to maintain high
morale. I have a proven track record of identifying new innovative approaches
and being creative to solving problems.
