The document discusses the ideas of Sri Aurobindo regarding Akhand Bharat, spiritual nationalism, Hindu-Muslim relations, and the partition of India. Some key points:
1) Sri Aurobindo believed in the spiritual and cultural map of Akhand Bharat (undivided India) and that unity would eventually be achieved despite political divisions.
2) He saw each nation as having a collective soul destined to develop certain qualities like spirituality for India and emotional force for Russia, for the benefit of humanity.
3) Sri Aurobindo felt the communal division into Hindus and Muslims hardened into a political partition but it should only be a temporary solution, and unity must be

SPIRITUAL REALISM in Indias Foreign Relations.pptsunilsondhi5
The first amongst the basic concepts in Indian Knowledge Tradition is that the Veda is the source of perennial flow of India’s living tradition.
Second, Brahma, the absolute reality, that spans the infinite and the infinitesimal connects all levels and forms of reality in a cosmic web.
Third basic concept is that Rta or Dharma- is the cosmic and human order that upholds all activity in living and non-living systems. (SCR (Supreme Court Records), (1966), (3) 242.)
In Indian tradition international relations is seen as an interconnected, and emergent system in which our active and insightful engagement as co-creator is crucial for national and global peace and prosperity
Abstract: National integration is an idea of belongingness to a nation. Secularism, a word patronized by G.H. Holyoaks means separation of the church from the state and gives a position of neutrality between different religions. Integration is more of a geographical identity and touches the core of sensitivity to national activities and causes. Secularism is an important aspect of Indian society, for this India is known in the entire world. A unique feature of our country is that it is the playground of all the major religions of the world and these have flourished here since their inception in the country. The Sanatana Dharma as understood from Vedas talks of essential unity of manhood. From time immemorial we find the common people in villages lived harmoniously for centuries without being disturbed by the wars waged by the rulers. The invasions of Mughal and Aryans and their like added cultures and religions to the already diversified India. The disrupters of communal harmony has its roots in the divide & rule policy practiced by the British and after the independence, it is due to the electoral politics pursued by the politicians. The cross border import of communalism encouraged by the vested interests also fueled tensions within the religion and then the country. Underneath the turbulence of communal discord, we find a natural tendency of the people for an inherent secularism in our country. One can worship a god of one’s choice based on family values or adherences, and respect others for having their own sense of this. An attempt is made in this article to explain the sources of discord among the religions and we tried to present a few solutions as well. The article tries to study the inherent secular values of the Indians and try to portray things from Indian perspective.
India i.e. Bharat is celebrating its 65th anniversary of adopting its Constitution as it was taken granted on the day of 26th January, 1950. We are very much proud for the Indian Constitution and celebrating the Republic Day, but we never look through the Hindu Elements in Indian Constitution or the implication of Hindu Culture and Tradition in it.

Bhagat Singh (born September 28, 1907, Lyallpur, western Punjab, India (now in Pakistan)—
Revolutionary hero of the Indian independence movement.
He attended Dayanand Anglo Vedic High School and National College, both located in Lahore.
He worked as a writer and editor in Amritsar for Punjabi and Urdu-language newspapers espousing Marxist theories.
He is credited with popularizing the catchphrase “Inquilab zindabad”.His grandfather, Sardar Arjun Singh, a scholar in sanskrit, Persian and Urdu, actively participated in the social work and religious reform movements . Though from the family of Jat Sikhs, he adopted the ideals of the Arya Samaj
In 1906, his three sons founded the Bharat Mata Society'
When Bhagat Singh was born , his father Sardar Kishan Singh was undergoing imprisonment in the Lahore Central Jali because of his active participation in the agitation against Colonisation Act.
His father and uncles were all released from the prison after his birth . It was because of this happy and welcome coincidence that he was named as Bhagarn Wala( lucky child) by his grand-mother
one of his uncle , Sardar Ajit Singh was going through torture in the Jail, 2; Bhagat Singh's spontaneous nationalistic feelings were intensified by the suffering of his aunt Harnam Kaur who used to weep most of the time because of the absence of her husband. In 1928 Bhagat Singh plotted with others to kill the police chief responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai, during a silent march opposing the Simon Commission. Instead, in a case of mistaken identity, junior officer J.P. Saunders was killed, and Bhagat Singh had to flee Lahore to escape the death penalty.
In 1929 he and an associate lobbed a bomb at the Central Legislative Assembly in Delhi to protest the implementation of the Defence of India Act and then surrendered.
He was hanged at the age of 24 for the murder of Saunders.Martyrdom : March 23, 1931, Lahore (now in Pakistan)
Human history from the times of Charvaka and Spartacus is illuminated with a galaxy of shining martyrs who have died for noble and progressive causes, the life and work of Bhagat Singh and his death by hanging at Lahore at the hands of British imperialism on March 23, 1931, has been a great saga of inspiration to all those who cherish sovereignty, secularism and socialism

The nation has been witnessing a strange debate on the issue of chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai. It all began with a statement made by RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat Ji while participating in a discussion on “value-based and nationalistic education” at annual meeting in Nagaur (Rajasthan). Referring to controversy over anti-India slogans raised in JNU he had said: “Now the time has come when we have to tell the new generation to chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai. It should be real, spontaneous and part of the all-round development of the youth.”

In a May 9, 2024 paper, Juri Opitz from the University of Zurich, along with Shira Wein and Nathan Schneider form Georgetown University, discussed the importance of linguistic expertise in natural language processing (NLP) in an era dominated by large language models (LLMs).
The authors explained that while machine translation (MT) previously relied heavily on linguists, the landscape has shifted. “Linguistics is no longer front and center in the way we build NLP systems,” they said. With the emergence of LLMs, which can generate fluent text without the need for specialized modules to handle grammar or semantic coherence, the need for linguistic expertise in NLP is being questioned.

9. Sri Maa
Mother, I was asking... (laughter) You said that
India was free in 1915, but was she free as
she is free now? Because India is not free as
one whole. She is broken up.
Oh! Oh! that’s what you wanted to know.
That... the details were not there. No, there must
have been a possibility of its being
otherwise, for, when Sri Aurobindo told
them to do a certain thing, sent them his
message, he knew very well that it was
possible to avoid what happened later. If
they had listened to him at that time, there
would have been no division.
Consequently, the division was not decreed, it
was a human deformation. It is beyond
question a human deformation.
CWM 1956
11. 14 August 1947
SRI AUROBINDO
• “But the old communal division into Hindus and
Muslims seems now to have hardened into a
permanent political division of the country. It is
to be hoped that this settled fact will not be
accepted as settled for ever or as anything more
than a temporary expedient. For if it lasts, India
may be seriously weakened, even crippled: civil
strife may remain always possible, possible even
a new invasion and foreign conquest. India’s
internal development and prosperity may be
impeded, her position among the nations
weakened, her destiny impaired or even
frustrated. This must not be; the partition must
go. Let us hope that that may come about
naturally, by an increasing recognition of the
necessity not only of peace and concord but of
common action, by the practice of common
action and the creation of means for that
purpose. In this way unity may finally come
about under whatever form—the exact form
may have a pragmatic but not a fundamental
importance. But by whatever means, in
whatever way, the division must go; unity must
and will be achieved, for it is necessary for the
greatness of India’s future.”
12. 15 August 1947
Dr Rajendra Prasad
“The country, which was
made by God and Nature
to be one, stands divided
today. Separation from
near and dear ones, even
from strangers after some
association, is always
painful. I would be untrue
to myself if I did not at
this moment confess to a
sense of sorrow it this
separation”
13. 15 August 1947
S Radhakrishnan
“Now that India is divided, it is our duty not to
indulge in words of anger. They lead us nowhere. We
must avoid pass-on Passion, and wisdom never
go together. The body politic may be divided
but the body historic lives on. (Hear, hear.)
Political divisions, physical partitions, are
external but the psychological divisions are
deeper. The cultural cleavages are the more
dangerous. We should not allow them to grow.
What we should do is to preserve those cultural
ties, those spiritual bonds which knit our
peoples together into one organic whole.
Patient consideration, slow process of
education, adjustment to one another's needs,
the discovery of points of view which are
common to both the dominions in the matter of
Communications, Defence, Foreign Affairs, these
are the things which should be allowed to grow
in the daily business of life and administration. It
is by developing such attitudes that we can once
again draw near and gain the lost unity of this
country. That is the only way to it”.
