back in February 2016 , under the name of the nation or nationalism although the
matter was still under court.
Gurmehar Kaur Incident- Gurmehar Kaur, a student of Delhi university ,who just
by posting on facebook was expressing her views regarding ABVP. She also was

over the other . True spirit of nationalism can be traced out in following examples-
American students were at the very forefront of opposition to the
Vietnam War. They rejected the government’s notion of patriotism.
The Scottish National Party (SNP) seeks to break away from Britain and form a
separate Scottish nation. Are SNP leaders jailed for sedition? No. They have an
honourable place in society, have been granted one referendum, and may soon get
another.
In Canada, the Parti Québécois has long demanded independence for
Quebec province, and this is treated not as sedition but a legitimate
democratic demand.
in 1942 , Congress asked for Quit India Movement but Dr. B.R Ambedkar , Sarvarkar
and even the Communist Party of India condemned and stood against this idea of
the Congress . But no single person called these people anti nationals
Nationalism’s true spirit is the idea of promoting national integrity and unity to attain progress
of the nation .
