Vacon Driven NA Case Studies Booklet 2008 - 2015
The document discusses several case studies of Vacon AC drives being used in various industries in North America. One case study describes a large underground mine in Alaska that installed Vacon NXS drives on ventilation fans and blowers to improve energy efficiency. Testing of the first drive resulted in annual energy savings of over $100,000. With positive results, more drives were installed across the mine's ventilation system to achieve significant annual cost savings. Another case study discusses the Northern Leader, one of the largest and most eco-friendly fishing vessels ever built. It uses Vacon NXP drives to power its electric propulsion system and reduce emissions. The drives were chosen for their performance, compact size, and ability to minimize harmonic distortion.

VRLA batteries, also known as sealed lead-acid batteries, have the same lead-acid battery chemistry as flooded lead-acid batteries but with the electrolyte immobilized in either an absorbent glass mat (AGM battery) or silica gel (gel battery). This makes them maintenance-free and suitable for many portable applications. However, the immobilized electrolyte also impedes chemical reactions, resulting in lower peak power capabilities than flooded lead-acid batteries. There are several types of VRLA batteries that differ in electrolyte type and construction but share the key characteristic of being sealed and maintenance-free.

Artificial Intelligence for XMLDevelopment
In the rapidly evolving landscape of technologies, XML continues to play a vital role in structuring, storing, and transporting data across diverse systems. The recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) present new methodologies for enhancing XML development workflows, introducing efficiency, automation, and intelligent capabilities. This presentation will outline the scope and perspective of utilizing AI in XML development. We will explore the capabilities of AI in understanding XML markup languages and autonomously creating structured XML content. The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

The most obvious consequence of this unique feature is that to obtain the same amount of battery power, the current of an AIR-Alkaline battery is much smaller than in the case of a saline. Therefore, with AIR-ALKALINE batteries -current is consumed up to 40% lower. This means that Air-Alkaline batteries last up to 60% more than saline batteries of the same capacity.
