AIC netbooks has shifted all production to China and is innovating new components and diversifying into consumer electronics. They double check products for quality but are waiting for new Intel processors. Demand is unpredictable and supervisors currently address problems without fixing root causes. Introducing a third shift could increase weekly production. Long term sustainability requires finding root causes, and appointing one supervisor for every two assembly lines could reduce the number needed.

In two shift- 700/ shift (9 hr shift)
* 2= 1400/ Day
* 6= 8400/week
In three shift- approx 620/ shift (8 hr shift)
*3= 1860/ Day
*6= 11160/week
For long term sustainability they should find the
solution of root cause.
1 supervisor should be appointed for 2 assembly
lines so that we will need only 2 supervisors.
