Utilization of social networking services toward accessible academic meetings
From the viewpoint of ``reasonable information accessibility,''
the popularization of real-time social networking services,
such as Twitter and Ustream,
can be regarded as the oppotunity to change academic meetings
into the ``universally designed'' events.
Accessibility should always be considered to some extent
without excessive cost.
Captioning service using automatic speech recognition is also investigated
as a part of the universally designed events using social media.
Representations are base of intelligent process in AI and is grounded to the outside world. In old days, they are designed by hand, but they are learned from data in today.
So, we need the new technical base for handling learned representations. We need to understand and to formulate them. We need to study construction / learning method and utilization method. I started to call this field Representation Engineering.
Theoretical foundation of this field will be such as categorical theory, algorithm information theory, ontology. Research will be advance by referring cognitive science / neuroscience etc.
Abstract: In recent years, interactive systems and dialogue generation in natural language processing
have attracted attention. Particularly due to the spread of chat bots to call centers, accurate human
interactive response is required. On the other hand, qualitative interactions in sociology's
ethnomethodology and discourse analysis / conversation analysis are beneficial. Therefore, once again,
using the Japanese language learner conversation data corpus of the National Institute of Japanese
Language, it is a consideration aiming to verify the effect and apply it to the tendency of dialogue
collapse and dialogue generation.
