Aguajaring is a Southeast Asia network established for capacity building in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) with its founding meeting in Kuala Lumpur in January 2007. The network aims to enhance human and institutional capacity in IWRM, promote regional and international cooperation in education and training, and support collaborative research efforts. Key challenges include water management issues, governance inefficiencies, and the need for adequate capital and resources to address water-related problems in the region.
