Poland has many different soil types, with brown soils and flat soils being the most common, covering over half the country. Poland is a leading producer of berries like strawberries and raspberries, as well as vegetables like onions, cabbage, and apples. Cereals make up over 77% of Polish agriculture, with wheat being the largest grain crop. The northern part of Tenerife grows crops like tomatoes and bananas, the central part grows potatoes, cereals and tobacco, and the southern part grows onions, with Tenerife producing about 150,000 tons of bananas annually, the most of any Canary Island.
