- Nu Skin’s ageLOC approach is to target the sources of the problem. Rather than just trying to mask the signs and symptoms, which is a traditional approach used by nutritional supplement and skin care companies, we specifically target the sources of aging.
- Through this ability to target the sources of aging, we identify changes in gene expression that accelerate the aging process. Aging defense mechanisms exist naturally in all of our cells to help resist aggressors that accelerate aging. The expression of our genes communicates with our aging defense mechanisms to tell them how to behave to protect the body and keep it functioning youthfully.
- However, from the moment we’re born, we’re exposed to external and internal aging aggressors.
