After interviewing several individuals from various career backgrounds, it became evident that the behaviors of ethical leaders play a vital role with their leadership skills. One must be able to have the characteristics of integrity, determination, and respect since they all identify the traits of an effective leader. It was identified that the person within this position should lead by example to encourage others to display positive behaviors within the workplace. According to Rowold (2011), the leader is responsible for influencing the behaviors of their followers, so their values and interests are transformed to exceed their expectations. Therefore, the traits that are displayed are essential to the assist with accomplishing the common goal of the business or company. Additionally, there are various ways to reinforce ethical behaviors which can be incorporated with rewards, or corrective action if necessary. Although we researched a few people in different career fields, but we still got the three major leadership trait approach to promote synergy. People works in different career fields has a different style. Different people will focus on different working style, which can adapt them in different career. Integrity can inspire confidence in others to complete the task. The behavior of integrity can influence the positive in workplace, and let the employees know this is their responsibility. Determination is the desire to get the job done and includes characteristics such as initiative, persistence, dominance and drive. Determination can drive the leader to motivate the followers to make them believe in a vision. Respect is also another characteristics mentioned from the interviews, which makes a good ethical leader. People respect each other can also motivate followers work hard, and it is also can reflect how important to people respect each other in career fields.
