This is an Interactive PowerPoint designed to help students learn the eight parts of
speech. There is a slide for each part of speech that includes a definition, example
and video about that particular part of speech. The definitions and examples have
been taken from resources online. These resources include worksheets that could be
used along with this presentation. Schoolhouse Rock videos have been used to
increase student interest in grammar.
Students can go through the whole presentation or use the home page to navigate
to a certain part of speech if they want to focus on a certain area or need extra help
learning about that part.

Jimmy is a noun because it is a person’s name.
