Parrot, 2000 and Stobbe, 2008 Adverbs How is it doing it? Adverbs Use to expand the meaning of another word. It’s beautifully made.  They can be placed anywhere in the sentence I went to the beach yesterday. Yesterday, I went to the beach.    Some adverbs have an _ly ending carefully, quickly, oddly, usually. If the object is a pronoun only the first order is possible I’m trying to figureit.        / I’m trying to figure out it.
