3. D&B Auto Radio Inc. was founded in 1981 by partners Robert Heuer
and David Vikartofsky with the sole intent to improve the level of
automotive electronics repair service in the Midwest.
What began as a repair center for only General Motors grew quickly as
the electronic content in vehicles exploded. Fueling this growth was
the need for high-quality repair centers with short repair cycle times.
With the addition of Ford, Chrysler and over 3,000 auto dealer
nationwide, automotive electronics repair volumes reached 30,000
repairs per month in 1993.
Today the company, doing business as; Advanced Technical Services,
supports OEM customers in the automotive, cable, telecom and digital
signage space with the same attention to quality, cost and delivery as
the company was founded upon.
