“IM Adapt should be useful for planners who are
considering EBIs to avoid developing an
intervention from the beginning. Not wanting to
develop an intervention de novo could be from
awareness of insufficient resources for developing
an intervention from scratch, or because a funder
has required the use of an existing EBI.”

are the most appealing to them or that seem the
most feasible, often without soliciting input from the
original developers or the new community and
without systematically determining what in an
