The student proposes a stop motion animation assignment involving cans moving and ending in a tower formation with an E4 logo. Review
Aim of proposal
My Stop motion shall have cans moving about and then it shall have then ending
up as a tower with E4 logo appearing at the end. This animation shall last 60
seconds and shall have the cans moving around by spinning and i shall take a
picture of the cans moving together and should use over 20 cans to make and
produce.
Description of Animation
The animation shall have cans spinning round and following each other, i want to give the
cans personality so for some cans they will move faster or some aggressively but for some
they will be slow turning cans for example tomato soup (because we all know its peaceful)
they will also be overtaking each other as it is an E4 ident and they have a style to their
idents. So i will give my cans a personality that matches the standard of E4.
Editing techniques
The editing techniques i shall use will be to cut all the clips together and then
colour them to give off a psychedelic look. This will make the Ident i am making
more attractive to the younger antiestablishment viewer.
Feedback from peers
90% off people thought the overall effect of my video and I see this as positive
feedback as most of the people that were asked said it was very good, 100% said
that the editing of the video was very professional. 70% said that the music fitted
the video but that does not affect me that much as it is their opinion. 80% of
people said that the Audience of E4 would enjoy this video. And most comments
said they enjoyed the video.
Aims for next project
The next project i shall do another E4 ident but i shall use more creative means
such as bigger and more colourful. I think my project worked well as it was simple
but very colourful. The next project i shall attempt shall be a big project that will
take up a whole wall and shall be more creative in terms of what i will use. Such as
using post notes and making a massive picture move and change and make my
own character. This will make my next E4 ident a lot better and in more chance of
winning.
