This document discusses the costumes and props for a music video. Jacob will play the male lead and is described as well-built, tall, and dresses individually. Emma will play his girlfriend and they will be able to act naturally as a couple. Props include a black car that Jacob will drive to represent his middle-class lifestyle, two phones they will use to contact each other, a passport and plane ticket to signify Emma's departure. Jacob's costume will be plain jeans, a baggy jumper, and vans to show he is simple and focuses on his relationship. Emma's costume will include boots, jeans, and a band t-shirt to fit the indie pop genre.

I have chosen to use Jacob as his look fits in well with the Indie pop genre. He is quite
well built and tall and therefore will have a good presence on the screen . He dresses
individual and doesn’t follow trends that most teenagers would follow.
 Girl – Emma Shale
I chose to use Emma as she is in a relationship with Jacob and therefore using these two
would be ideal. They will be able to act as a couple easily and without problems as they
are used to it and they will be easy to get together and film it.

3. Props
Car – For Jacob to get to the airport he will be driving in this car. The car belongs to my dad so he
will drive I but I will film Jacob sat in it while it is stopped. I have chosen to use this car because it
is quick and looks stylish and can be referred to true petrol-heads car. It also helps me with
having to find a different car as it belongs to my dad and therefore it is easier. The car is black
which matches Jacob’s hair and fits well with the monochrome theme my music video will follow.
It shows that because of this car, and the fact it is quick, shows how eager he is to reach Emma at
the airport to stop her from leaving. It also represents his standard of living and his typical
middleclass lifestyle.
Phone – There will be two phones in my music video, one belonging to Jacob and another to
Emma. They will be used when they are trying to contact each other and also when Emma is
ignoring Jacob while on her phone.
Passport – The passport is for Emma to signify the fact that she is leaving and to show that she is
going abroad not just away from their house.
Plane ticket – this will also be for imagery and like the passport, it will be used to clearly signify
the fact that she is definitely leaving and it is a definite decision she has made.

4. Costume
 Jacob - Will be wearing plane blue jeans as he is very basic and doesn’t
care too much about his appearance. He will also have a big baggy jumper
and some vans or converse as this fits the genre conventions. By using this
costume, you will be able to tell that Jacob is very plain and simple, he
doesn’t care too much about the little things in life and concentrates more
on things like his relationship with Emma more than himself.
 Emma – Will be wearing boots and a pair of jeans, she will also have a
band t-shirt on. These styles of clothing will make her fit into a indie pop
looking style. I want them both to look like they fit into the indie genre.
