Michael WellsA2Media Actors, Costumes and Props Actors My musicvideoonlyhasthree charactersthe mainguy whothe videoisabout,andtwo membersof the band as that ishowmany membersthere are inthe proclaimers.The actorsthat I have chosenI have selectedfora multitude of reasons. Guy 1 – For thisrole I chose Tom Smitdue to the fact that he hasa large amountof acting skill aswell asthe fact that I have filmedwithhimbefore andthatI thinkhe wouldbe able to pull of thisrole well.He isalsoavailable onthe datesthatI have for filming. Guitarist/Singer–I chose JamesDowneydue tothe fact that he can playguitarand bass whichisessential forwhatIwant himto do,alsohe isavailable forthe datesthatwe are filming,he isalsolettingme filmathishouse whichisone of the locationsasit has a large gardenwitha valleyviewandaswimmingpool whichIthoughtwouldbe agreat place to film. Drummer– For thisrole Ichose Matt Lynn mainlybecause of the factthat he can playa drum kitwell,thisisessential inmymusicvideo asitisone of the mainprops.He alsohas hisown drum kitwhichishelpful. Costumes Guy 1 – The costume thatI want thischaracter to wearissomethingthatisfairlynormal as I wantto create the ideathat the character is sopersistentthathe still walksthe distance thathe doeseven thoughhe doesn’tthe correct clothingforit. The clothesI wanthimto wear are Trainers/non-walkingshoes/Canvasshoes,Jeans,atshirt anda thincoat. I chose these as itemphasiseshow unpreparedhe isforthiswalkyethe still doesitwhich highlightsthe meaningof the song.

Michael WellsA2Media Guitarist– I want the guitaristtobe wearingsomethingbothrockthemedaswell ascasual as well as keepingintouchwiththe Celtictheme soIwishformy guitaristtowearregularsmart/casual shoes, Dark/Blacktrousers,Greyundert-shirt,Checkedovershirt.Ichose thisasI want myband to both lookreasonablysmartaswell ascasual. I choose the colour redfor hisshirtas it isa connotationof love whichthissongisabout. Drummer– I wantthe drummerto stickwitha similartheme thatthe guitaristhasgone with somethingthatis bothsmart and casual as well asstickingwithaCeltictheme,Iwantthe two membersof the bandto be recognisable asbeingapart of a bandby theirclothesthisiswhyI want theirclothestobe similar.SoI wantthe drummertowearsmart shoesbut slightlycasual,darknavy or blacktrousersa white orgreyundert-shirtanda checkedshirtthatis preferablyadifferent colourto the one the guitaristiswearing. Ichose the colourgreenas ita connotationof luckwhichI thinkthissonghas an elementof. Props In mymusicvideoI don’thave verymanyprops,mostof themare either musical instrumentsor speakertogo withthe instruments,here isalistof all the propsthat I shall needformy musicvideo and whowill use them. Prop Who shall use it Why Drum Kit Thiswill be usedbyMatt Lynn whoplaysthe drummer. The reasonthat I needthis prop isdue to the fact that I wantmy actors to be playing the same instrumentsthat were inthe original music videoasit makesitmore matchingto the song,as that the soundwill alsobe visually represented.
- 3. Michael WellsA2Media Bass Guitar Thisshall be usedby James Downeywhothe playsthe guitaristinthe band. I wishforthe actor to use a bass guitaras it givesthe musicvideoasense thatit is real and that the musicis also beingvisuallyrepresented. AcousticGuitar Thisshall alsobe usedby JamesDowneybutI shall use editingtomake himandthe otherversionof himplaying the bass guitarin the same shot. I wishto use thisas itvisually createsall the parts of the songas the bassguitar createsthe bass visuallyand the drum providesthe beat so I wishforthe acoustic guitarto provide the rhythm. Microphone Thisshall be usedby James Downeywhenhe isplaying the acousticguitar. I chose to use a microphone as it isa props that isusedin a lot of musicvideosanddie to the fact that thisis alsoa performance videoasthisis rock genre I thoughtI would needa microphone. Large Speakers These shall notbe usedby anyone buttheywill be in the sceneswhere the band are playingasto emphasis the realismof the bandby usingall the equipmentthat youexpecta bandto use. Speakersare verycommonin a lot of musicvideos especiallywithinthe rock genre as theyhave a lotof performance musicvideos whichshow the band playing the instrumentswhichhave equipmentwiththem.
