AcriolisAutomotive Development & Research Omnisociety (AADRO) founded by group
of young, talented and enthusiastic aspiring engineers, in a quest to get the most out of the
academic learning, to build a belonging to the disciplines of the subject and a sense of
responsibilityforthesociety.
AADRO has a strong base of state-of-the-art technology equipments, laboratory facilities,
highly qualified and experienced personnel. AADRO is one of the few professional
engineering societies whose membership represents practically every engineering and
scientific discipline. Its members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the
research, development, design, manufacture and utilization of vehicles which operate on
land and water and in air and space. Chances to network with colleagues at meetings and

The purpose of this organization is to provide its members opportunities to gain broader
insight into the engineering profession by sponsoring meetings which will bring practicing
engineers to the campus, arranging field trips to research and engineering establishments,
sponsoring student projects of engineering interest, and participating in local AADRO
Section activities. It shall also be the purpose of this organization to encourage good

AIM
Acriolis India Motors (Pvt. Ltd.) is a venture Indian automobile company, established at Aligarh in Uttar
Pradesh. Equipped with integrated facilities for engine, axles, body etc and which also holds a strong R&D
cell, AADRO. Over the past two years, me & a group of engineers has worked hard to develop an off-road
vehicle i.e. All Terrain Vehicle (ATV); a 2/4 WD, 1100 cc powered diesel engine machine. Our design has
been successfully tested & simulated and proven to be better in design stability, vehicle ergonomics,
innovation&powerefficiencyascomparedtoothers.
We are fabricating a rugged, durable and affordable automobile that has been designed to maneuver on rural
roads. Till date, no vehicle has been designed keeping the and needs of military & people residing in the
rural areas in mind. We plan to technologically combine the family car, the pickup truck and also the tractor
to produce a vehicle that will satisfy a huge gap that exists in a market where 12% of the world's population
resides.Our ideaaddresses theneedof atailor-madevehiclefortheruralareasandmilitarypurposes.
India loses 3% of its GDP to road crashes every year. Many of the deaths happen in rural areas due to bad
road conditions.Agricultural productivity also suffers in India as the income of most farmers is low and they
end up using bullocks to plough. The problem of naxalites is also at an alarming rate in our country regions
where it is not so easy for SUV to run over the tough terrains like in MP, Chattisgarh etc. Thus if a vehicle is
made available to the farmers & military which is priced close to the cheapest available in the market, and
the vehicle can plough as well, we will offer the farmers a means to transport, carry load and also plough at
the price of a small tractor & anATV(All Terrain Vehicle) for military to serve its purposes. Because of the
lack of a tailor-made vehicle for rural roads, productivity is low, children are unable to get to school, women
have to carry heavy loads on their head, farmers struggle to get their goods to the market and the sick do not
have access to hospitals. Our vehicle also has a water purifier and an electricity generator attached to it
whichwilladdress theproblemsof puredrinkingwaterandelectricitywhichareenormous.
After the launch of this machine, the AIM is also working to fabricate India's first Royal sedan. AIM feels
proud to fabricate this machine , which will be launched in Indian market for selling in coming year(s).After
allcertificationandvalidationthecompanywilllaunchthesemachinesincomingAutoExpoorlater.

AADRO (Acriolis Automotive Development & Research Omnisociety) was founded in Lucknow in 2012
with the motto – SIMPLYAUTOMOTIVE. AADRO's purpose is the same today as it was then: to bring
together engineers from across the globe to share ideas and advance the technological development of the
automobile.
AADRO's goal is to provide a forum for dialogue amongst these engineers, as well as industry, government,
academia, environmental and standards organizations. We are a nonprofit, non-governmental organization
-controlledby theengineeringprofession andsupportedby theglobalautomotiveindustry.
AADRO's organization of events such as the Indian Automotive Congress and the annual Indian
Automotive Racing events, which will led toAADRO becoming an leader in the exchange of knowledge in
allareasofautomotivetechnology.

We design, develop and perform evaluation of three types of IC engines, such as diesel, gasoline and hydro
spark. We design engines right from concept to creating prototype, for various applications, like HCV, LCV,
utility vehicles, andATV from 15 to 250 HP. Currently, we are engaged in designing technology from concept
to creating prototype for advanced engine application, meeting EUROIV emission Norms. We offer services
for design and development of engine components and subsystem, durability trials, emission control and
specificpower upgrades.

Engine development laboratory is engaged in design of complete engine from concept to initial prototypes and
support formassproduction/Up gradationofexistingengineperformancetomeettargetperformance.

Transmission Design
With strong knowledgebase on engine design, AADRO is building design competency on transmission to
provideintegratedpower-trainsolutionstotheAutomotiveindustry.

Development of alternatively fueled engines has become vital in order to meet the increasingly stringent
emissions norms being implemented globally. Furthermore, alternative fuels provide a cost benefit, due to the
lower costs of production of these fuels. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and
Hydrogen-CNG blended fuel (HCNG) are promising alternative fuels in India. Various sub-systems of the
baseline SI/CI engine, such as the air-intake system, combustion bowl, CR, the exhaust system, after treatment
devicearereviewedandsuitablymodifiedtoachievethetargetspecifications.
Traditionally CNG vehicles have been developed in India in variety of segments and have contributed to
cleaning the ambient conditions of cities like Delhi. However the persistent NOx levels are becoming a hotly
debated issue. One of the solutions to this crisis is the addition of Hydrogen to CNG.The Hydrogen + CNG fuel
referred to as HCNG has the potential to lower emissions including NOx as compared to CNG and is considered
to be the first step towards promotion of a Hydrogen economy.AADRO is fully equipped and has the expertise
toundertakedevelopmentprojectsfor alltypesofHydro fuel&HCNG enginesfortheautomotiveindustry.
Grades of Membership
AADRO havethefollowinggradesofmembership:
 Fellow;
 Professional;
 Associate;
 Joint;and
 Student.
Fellow
This grade shall be composed of persons of exceptional distinction by reason of outstanding and
extraordinary qualifications, experience, and sustained accomplishment in mobility or related
engineering. Nomination for election to Fellow grade shall be made by voting members. Nominations
shall be considered by a committee or operating board of the Board and recommended to the Board for
approval.Statusas aFellowmembershallbeginuponapprovalbytheBoard.
Professional
Amember shall have a qualified college or university degree in engineering or other graduation course;
or have the required equivalent years of technical education and professional technical experience; or
havedistinguishedserviceandnoteworthyaccomplishments.
Associate
An associate member shall be individuals whose association supports the objectives ofAADRO but do
notmeettherequirementsofamember.
Joint
Ajoint member shall be a member in good standing of an organization with whichAADRO has a joint
membershipagreement.
Student
A student member shall, at the time of application, be a high-school senior or post-secondary student
pursuing studies leading to a college degree Interpreting and determining the requirements defined in
Sections 3.3 through 3.5, (AADRO BYLAWS) shall be made by a committee or operating board of the
Board.

PROLOGUE AcriolisAutomotive Development & Research Omnisociety (AADRO) founded by group of young, talented and enthusiastic aspiring engineers, in a quest to get the most out of the academic learning, to build a belonging to the disciplines of the subject and a sense of responsibilityforthesociety. AADRO has a strong base of state-of-the-art technology equipments, laboratory facilities, highly qualified and experienced personnel. AADRO is one of the few professional engineering societies whose membership represents practically every engineering and scientific discipline. Its members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture and utilization of vehicles which operate on land and water and in air and space. Chances to network with colleagues at meetings and local section activities. Opportunities to work with the industry leaders and specialists of yourfields. The purpose of this organization is to provide its members opportunities to gain broader insight into the engineering profession by sponsoring meetings which will bring practicing engineers to the campus, arranging field trips to research and engineering establishments, sponsoring student projects of engineering interest, and participating in local AADRO Section activities. It shall also be the purpose of this organization to encourage good fellowshipamongengineeringstudentsandtheirteachers. AIM pledged full infrastructural support to AADRO. However, a project of this magnitude, for its successful completion, would require support from the corporate sector, institutionsandphilanthropicpersonalitiesas well. Over the past two years, me & a group of engineers has worked hard to develop an off-road vehicle i.e. All Terrain Vehicle (ATV); a 2/4 WD, 1100 cc powered diesel engine machine. Our design has been successfully tested & simulated and proven to be better in design stability, vehicle ergonomics, innovation&powerefficiencyascomparedtoothers. We are fabricating a rugged, durable and affordable automobile that has been designed to maneuver on rural roads. Till date, no vehicle has been designed keeping the and needs of military & people residing in the rural areas in mind. We plan to technologically combine the family car, the pickup truck and also the tractor to produce a vehicle that will satisfy a huge gap that exists in a market where 12% of the world's population resides.Our ideaaddresses theneedof atailor-madevehiclefortheruralareasandmilitarypurposes. India loses 3% of its GDP to road crashes every year. Many of the deaths happen in rural areas due to bad road conditions.Agricultural productivity also suffers in India as the income of most farmers is low and they end up using bullocks to plough. The problem of naxalites is also at an alarming rate in our country regions where it is not so easy for SUV to run over the tough terrains like in MP, Chattisgarh etc. Thus if a vehicle is made available to the farmers & military which is priced close to the cheapest available in the market, and the vehicle can plough as well, we will offer the farmers a means to transport, carry load and also plough at the price of a small tractor & anATV(All Terrain Vehicle) for military to serve its purposes. Because of the lack of a tailor-made vehicle for rural roads, productivity is low, children are unable to get to school, women have to carry heavy loads on their head, farmers struggle to get their goods to the market and the sick do not have access to hospitals. Our vehicle also has a water purifier and an electricity generator attached to it whichwilladdress theproblemsof puredrinkingwaterandelectricitywhichareenormous. After the launch of this machine, the AIM is also working to fabricate India's first Royal sedan. Development of alternatively fueled engines has become vital in order to meet the increasingly stringent emissions norms being implemented globally. Furthermore, alternative fuels provide a cost benefit, due to the lower costs of production of these fuels. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Hydrogen-CNG blended fuel (HCNG) are promising alternative fuels in India. Various sub-systems of the baseline SI/CI engine, such as the air-intake system, combustion bowl, CR, the exhaust system, after treatment devicearereviewedandsuitablymodifiedtoachievethetargetspecifications. Traditionally CNG vehicles have been developed in India in variety of segments and have contributed to cleaning the ambient conditions of cities like Delhi. However the persistent NOx levels are becoming a hotly debated issue. One of the solutions to this crisis is the addition of Hydrogen to CNG.The Hydrogen + CNG fuel referred to as HCNG has the potential to lower emissions including NOx as compared to CNG and is considered to be the first step towards promotion of a Hydrogen economy.AADRO is fully equipped and has the expertise toundertakedevelopmentprojectsfor alltypesofHydro fuel&HCNG enginesfortheautomotiveindustry.
  • 8. Grades of Membership AADRO havethefollowinggradesofmembership:  Fellow;  Professional;  Associate;  Joint;and  Student. Fellow This grade shall be composed of persons of exceptional distinction by reason of outstanding and extraordinary qualifications, experience, and sustained accomplishment in mobility or related engineering. Nomination for election to Fellow grade shall be made by voting members. Nominations shall be considered by a committee or operating board of the Board and recommended to the Board for approval.Statusas aFellowmembershallbeginuponapprovalbytheBoard. Professional Amember shall have a qualified college or university degree in engineering or other graduation course; or have the required equivalent years of technical education and professional technical experience; or havedistinguishedserviceandnoteworthyaccomplishments.
