ESTIMATION OF CHANNEL IN OFDM WIRELESS CHANNEL USING LS AND MMSE TECHNIQUESIAEME Publication
In recent years with the increase in digital data communication, the need for high data rates with less information loss or distortion is being a continuous research area and new techniques are being invented in this area. Large amount of people are using the air interface for proper communication which also have a lot of drawbacks which include multipath fading, Inter symbol interference (ISI), Doppler shift etc..This paper is being presented on basis of channel estimation of wireless mobile OFDM channels using known pilot symbols.
PAPR REDUCTION OF OFDM SIGNAL BY USING COMBINED HADAMARD AND MODIFIED MEU-LAW...IJCNCJournal
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a technique which gives high quality of service (QOS) to the users by mitigating the fading signals as well as high data rates in multimedia services. However, the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) is a technical challenge that reduces the efficiency of RF power amplifiers. In this paper, we propose the combined Hadamard transform and modified meu-law companding transform method in order to lessen the effects of the peak-to-average power ratio of the
OFDM signal. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme reduces PAPR compared to other companding techniques as well as the Hadamard transform technique when used on its own.

A design and optimization of 3-5 GHz single ended Radio Frequency (RF) Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) for
ultra-wide-band (UWB) applications using standard UMC 0.18 μm CMOS technology is reported.
Designing of RF circuit components is a challenging job, since even after performing lengthy calculations
and finding parameter values it is less guarantee that the design performs as expected. In view of this the
optimization tool; Elitist Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II); has been employed to get
the optimized starting values of components in the proposed LNA design. The obtained NSGA-II
parameters were simulated using Cadence Spectre- RF simulator. The designed Low Noise Amplifier
achieves a power gain of 22 dB and a minimum Noise Figure of 3 dB is achieved. It dissipates 12.5 mW of
power out of 1.8 V supply.

In this research, we propose and investigate adaptive relaying protocol (ARP) For wireless energy harvesting (EH) and information processing in NOMA systems. Firstly, we investigate and derive the closed-form and integral-form expressions of the outage probability (OP) of the model system. Then, all the results are convinced by the Monte Carlo simulation. The research results show that all the analytical and simulation results are the same in connection with the primary system parameters. This research can provide a recommendation for NOMA system network.

Spatial Crowdsourcing (SC) is a transformative platform that engages individuals, groups and communities in the act of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating environmental, social and other spatio-temporal information. The objective of SC is to outsource a set of spatio-temporal tasks to a set of workers, i.e., individuals with mobile devices that perform the tasks by physically traveling to specified locations of interest. However, current solutions require the workers, who in many cases are simply volunteering for a cause, to disclose their locations to untrustworthy entities. In this paper, we introduce a framework for protecting location privacy of workers participating in SC tasks. We argue that existing location privacy techniques are not sufficient for SC, and we propose a mechanism based on differential privacy and geocasting that achieves effective SC services while offering privacy guarantees to workers. We investigate analytical models and task assignment strategies that balance multiple crucial aspects of SC functionality, such as task completion rate, worker travel distance and system overhead. Extensive experimental results on real-world datasets show that the proposed technique protects workers' location privacy without incurring significant performance metrics penalties.

DCE: A NOVEL DELAY CORRELATION MEASUREMENT FOR TOMOGRAPHY WITH PASSIVE REAL...ijdpsjournal
Tomography is important for network design and routing optimization. Prior approaches require either
precise time synchronization or complex cooperation. Furthermore, active tomography consumes explicit
probing resulting in limited scalability. To address the first issue we propose a novel Delay Correlation
Estimation methodology named DCE with no need of synchronization and special cooperation. For the
second issue we develop a passive realization mechanism merely using regular data flow without explicit
bandwidth consumption. Extensive simulations in OMNeT++ are made to evaluate its accuracy where we
show that DCE measurement is highly identical with the true value. Also from test result we find that
mechanism of passive realization is able to achieve both regular data transmission and purpose of
tomography with excellent robustness versus different background traffic and package size.
Exact secure outage probability performance of uplinkdownlink multiple access...journalBEEI
In this paper, we study uplink-downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) systems by considering the secure performance at the physical layer. In the considered system model, the base station acts a relay to allow two users at the left side communicate with two users at the right side. By considering imperfect channel state information (CSI), the secure performance need be studied since an eavesdropper wants to overhear signals processed at the downlink. To provide secure performance metric, we derive exact expressions of secrecy outage probability (SOP) and and evaluating the impacts of main parameters on SOP metric. The important finding is that we can achieve the higher secrecy performance at high signal to noise ratio (SNR). Moreover, the numerical results demonstrate that the SOP tends to a constant at high SNR. Finally, our results show that the power allocation factors, target rates are main factors affecting to the secrecy performance of considered uplink-downlink NOMA systems.
Outage probability analysis of EH NOMA system network over Rayleigh fading ch...journalBEEI
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with advantages such as superior spectral efficiency has been considered as a promising multiple access technique for the fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks. In this research, we propose energy harvesting (EH) NOMA system relaying network over Rayleigh fading channel using selection combining at the receiver. Firstly, we investigate the system performance in terms of the closed-form expression of the outage probability (OP). Here we compare the OP of two destination users of the proposed system. Finally, all the results is convinced by the Monte Carlo simulation. From the results, we can confirm that all the analytical and simulation results are the same in connection with the primary system parameters.

Design and implementation of different audio restoration techniques for audio...eSAT Journals
Abstract
Audio signals are corrupted with many types of distortions. Major audio distortions are categorized into Globalized and
Localized distortions. Localized distortion includes clipping and clicks where only certain samples are affected and globalized
distortions include broadband noise where complete bandwidth is consumed by noise. Audio restoration is a technique for giving
back the audio signals from these distortions. In this paper, audio restoration techniques for removing clipping, clicks and
broadband noise are put forwarded. Recent approaches to solving audio restoration problem is with respect to sparse
representation algorithms. Clipping distortion is addressed with a Sparse representation framework, it is treated as a reverse
problem, where the distorted samples is estimated from the surrounding undistorted samples, they are embedded in frame based
scheme, and reconstructed by using an overlap add method in conjunction with OMP algorithm and Gabor/DCT dictionary for
modelling audio signals. Broadband denoising is done by using spectral subtraction and Click removal is done by using an
adaptive filter method as the first step. Performance measures are done based on perception, average SNR calculation and
defined parameter variations. This paper also targeting towards the software and hardware implementation of the restoration
methods using TMS320C6713 DSK kit with help of tools mainly MATLAB and Code Composer studio.

Search and Society: Reimagining Information Access for Radical FuturesBhaskar Mitra
The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.
