• No last names!!
• Use a ‘contact me’ page with a contact form,
rather than giving out your email address.

4. Should I include a picture?
This is completely your choice.
If you do, choose a photo of yourself that is appropriate to:
• The site
• Your age
Do not include:
• A picture of you in a group shot
• An obvious selfie
• An overly posed photo
• A photo that gives any indication of where you live or go to school.

What is a widget?
In computing, a web widget is a software widget for the web. It's a
small application with limited functionality that can be installed and
executed within a web page by an end user. A widget has the role of
a transient or auxiliary application, meaning that it just occupies a
portion of a webpage and does something useful with information
fetched from other websites and displayed in place.
Widgets often take the form of on-screen devices such as clocks, event
countdowns, auction-tickers, stock market tickers, flight arrival
information, daily weather etc.

don’t need it, don’t use it. You are allowed to
leave your widget areas empty.
• Widgets should not distract too much from the
main content of the site.
• Choosing dynamic widgets – widgets that will
update and change themselves automatically (eg
Twitter feed) are the best kinds of widgets.
