4. Executive Summary
This Project is about Dabur India Limited company. Dabur
is the biggest company in the field of producing Ayurvedic
products. It is India’s 10th oldest company with a historic
legacy behind it and still it is the best in it’s segment . It was
the brain child of Mr. S.K. Burman. In 1884 with an aim to
find ayurvedic medicines and to make it reach to each and
every person.
When this Idea became Popular its operation began to
increase and after 102 years it became public and then
after some years it became global. Now it’s reach is in 200
countries.

Dabur’s current CEO is Mr. Mohit Malhotra whose goal is to
make it a world leader in each and every sectors. Because
of him Dabur has extend its product range rapidly. Now it
has basically 3 Sections 1. Consumer Durables 2. Food
Items 3. Medicinal Products.
Since 2013 Dabur is rapidly growing and with that there
sales figures and market share of each and every product
is also growing.
Right now during this pandemic Dabur is doing its best to
fight this virus and helping as much as they can. And still
ready to serve this country and World for its betterment.

• Renovated 16 govt. Schools , 1520 desks distributed.
• Many Women Empowerment and self defense classes
were conducted – (trained around 420 women how to
defend themselves)
• Water Conservation in Rajasthan – Provided water to
820 families in different locations, and it will also save
around 65 lakh ltr. Of Water.
• Distributed saplings free of cost – 17.4 lakh approx.
• Recycled 400 MT plastic waste

Dabur is India’s one of the oldest Indian brand specializes
in manufacturing FMCG and ayurvedic products.
It’s journey of becoming India’s biggest Ayurvedic company
is very mesmerizing.
This Project has given me a chance to look in corporate
world and to learn how things work.
This Business Orientation Project is beneficial in grooming
me into the corporate world.
