Influences
The band has had several influences into
their music and into the way they
advertise themselves as a band. A lot of
the bands that they had influences from
have gone onto perform alongside them
during concerts and performances. Some
of the bands are also signed to the same
record label as them so, it is likely that
they got to know them and their ways
this way instead of through admiring
them from a young age.
Some of these bands are:
• mewithoutYou
• Radiohead
• Kent
• Paper Route
• Etta James
• Robert Smith (The Cure)
• U2
• Jimmy Eat World
• No Doubt
• Fall Out Boy
• Blink-182
• Panic! At The Disco
• Death Cab For Cutie
• New Found Glory
• Thrice
Record Label
The record label that Paramore is signed
to is Fueled by Ramen who produce
music in various rock genres. They were
signed to this label as it was found that
the image of the band would be more
successful through not being attached to
a major label. However, later on, they
were signed to both Atlantic Records and
Fueled by Ramen who are both
subsidiary companies of he Warner Music
Group.
Several of the bands that the group has
been influenced by are also signed to the
same record label. Due to this, it is likely
that Paramore would know about them
as they were influenced by the bands
produced by them at a young age.
