Palo Alto, California in
October, 2003 by Andy
Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick

makers and carriers with the intent of
providing a flexible, upgradable system.
 This caused speculation about Google's
intention to enter the mobile communications
market to build.
 On October 21st, 2008, Android 1.0 became
available to the public.
