The ABHINAV motor starter is an automated mobile GSM starter that allows users to operate motors from anywhere using their mobile phone. It can be used with timers and helps farmers operate motors remotely to protect themselves from snakes, wild animals, and rough weather. The starter connects to any motor up to 7.5 HP and can be installed in 5 minutes. It sends SMS alerts when the motor turns on or off and when the power is restored. Users can register up to 4 people per device and control the motor via calls, SMS, or an Android app.

In this project Arduino Automatic Watering System Plants Sprinkler using IoT, the watering system is automatic using the Arduino Uno board and gets the information about plants and moisture of the soil in Gmail, Twitter and Facebook. In here, two types of programming languages are used which are Embedded C and Python programming. The Embedded C is used for the arduino for automate the watering system of the plants and other language Python is used for sending status of the plants and soil moisture to the Gmail and also IFTTT is used for getting data in Twitter and Facebook. We get data of the moisture sensor in our Gmail, Twitter and Facebook account using the Python code. The data or information is value of the serial monitor of the arduino as the resistivity of soil moisture with the status of plant as a message.
Rain Alarm Project is a simple but very useful project that detects Rain (Rain Water) and automatically triggers an alarm or buzzer. Water is a basic need in every one’s life. Saving water and proper usage of water is very important. Here is an easy project which will give the alarm when there is rain, so that we can make some actions for rain water harvesting and also save the rain water for using it later. With the help of saving this rain water through rain water harvesting, we can increase the levels of underground water by using underwater recharge technique. Rain water detector will detect the rain and make an alert; rain water detector is used in the irrigation field, home automation, communication, automobiles etc. Here is the simple and reliable circuit of rain water detector which can be constructed at low cost.

This also gives much needed rest to the farmers, as they don’t have to go and turn the pump on/off manually.

GSM-Microcontroller Based Remote Control of Sprinkler IrrigationIJMER
GSM-Microcontroller based Remote Control of Sprinkler Irrigation is a new concept in the
field of the irrigation for doing irrigation work remotely without any risk of accident due to electric
shock , hard work and working in difficult environment condition. This system discards the
conventional methods of irrigation work. In present work the author has designed and developed a
automatic sprinkler irrigation system which is controlled and monitored by a microcontroller
interfaced with display device , current flow sensor, solenoid valves and GSM modems. Given
command to stop , start , interrupt and parameters under monitoring are stored in a memory based
upon which microcontroller takes decision to run the system. Provision of protection against dry run
and overload of motor coupled with centrifugal pump is also incorporated. Options using selector
switches make this system compatible with single phase motor and three phase motor. It obsoletes the
mechanical work of farmers by automatically changing over sprinkler water lines in sequence after
running for a period of set time decided by farmer and switch off the water pump house motor upon
completion of irrigation work using GSM modems interfaced with microcontrollers.

A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
