Operations Assistant August 2015 – present day
Beard Papa is an international chain of cream puff stores started in Japan by the company Muginoho
Co., Ltd. Their slogan is "Fresh and natural cream puffs". Beard Papa's has over 250 stores in Japan
and 300 worldwide. In April 2015, Ya Kun Kaya Toast took over as the master franchisor in
Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Ordering stocks and ensuring sufficient supplies for the week
Maintaining quality of products
Ensuring outlet is clean and well maintained
Handling daily sales and weekly banking in of weekly cash sales
Skills/experience:
Supervised daily operations within the outlet, ensuring that there was always sufficient
supplies and motivating outlet staff to follow the correct procedures closely.
As puffs were baked daily within the outlets, I also had to learn how to manage productions to
avoid or minimize waste but at the same time ensure that there would be sufficient stock to hit
daily sales target. This was achieved by observing the trend of sales over a few weeks.

Ling Kwang Home was established in 31 December 1983 as a nursing home to provide the elderly
