criteria. The author does a good job in portraying this book as having realistic

A Second thing I liked about how the book was crafted was the scenery. The author
made the scenery look like any other small town. It has a library called the Herman

plot. The author used recurring plots. A plot that is mentioned in one part of the
book but then comes up in another part but gives a larger meaning then before. For
instance, Otis tells Opal he has has a dark past and was arrested but does not explain
to her as to way he was arrested. Later on in the book though, he tell Opal he was
arrested because, I pushed down a police officer for not letting me play my guitar
