INTRODUCTION
 Market research is one of the key factors used in maintaining
competitiveness over competitors. Market research provides
important information to identify and analyse the market need,
market size and competition. Market-research techniques
encompass both qualitative techniques such as focus groups, in-
depth interviews, and ethnography, as well as quantitative
techniques such as customer surveys, and analysis of secondary
data.
 Market research, which includes social and opinion research, is
the systematic gathering and interpretation of information about
individuals or organizations using statistical and analytical
methods and techniques of the applied social sciences to gain
insight or support decision making.
 This study gives an overview of the projects that I worked on and
the learning that I gained during my internship at Mindsweep
Insights, Mumbai. I had worked on major project and few smaller
projects as well.
 Market research (or marketing research) is any set of techniques
used to gather information and better understand a company’s
target market. Businesses use this information to design better
products, improve user experience, and craft a marketing
message that attracts quality leads and improves conversion
rates.
 Project management is the process of leading the work of a
team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified
time.
 Business development entails tasks and processes to develop
and implement growth opportunities within and between
organizations. It is a subset of the fields of business, commerce
and organizational theory.
OBJECTIVES
 To study the nuances of market research.
 To conduct corporate sales (B2B).
 To contact and communicate with people from the target
group (i.e. leading healthcare companies, market research
companies and consultancies) across the globe.
 To conduct Project Management.
 To conduct client servicing.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
 RESEARCH DESIGN:
 EXPLORATORY METHOD:
The main purpose of exploratory study is to formulate a problem for a more
precise investigation or to develop working hypothesis. Exploratory study is the
primary stage of research. Exploratory research is mostly qualitative.
 SURVEY METHOD:
Survey research is the systematic gathering of information from respondents
for the purpose of understanding and/or predicting some aspects of the
behavior of the population of interest. It is the most common method of
collecting primary data for marketing decision.
1. Mail surveys
2. Online survey
 DESCRIPTIVE METHOD:
Descriptive Study determines and reports the way things are.Descriptive
research is also known as ‘Statistical research’. It describes data and
characteristics about the population or phenomenon being studied.
 SOURCE OF DATA:
The method adopted by the researcher to collect and study the required data. The report
has been prepared as per the information obtained from 2 sources they are
• Primary data
1. Discussion Method
2. Observation Method
• Secondary data
 SAMPLE SIZE :
The sample size is 100 respondents.
 SAMPLING METHOD:
Random sampling method was used.
 SAMPLING UNIT:
It means “who is to be surveyed”. Here target population is decided and it is who are
interested to become associated with the Mindsweep Insights, a sampling frame is
developed and thereafter live projects are to be wined.
 SAMPLE SITE:
The survey was conducted across the globe.

FINDINGS
 There is a harmonious relationship is exist in the organization between the
customers and company.
 Mindsweep Insights are involved more in global market research and
provide satisfactory results.
 The company has a hold over different industries thus having wide scope
exploration and specialization.
 The company has Strong brand association.
 It is found that the Strategic data acquisition of the Mindsweep Insights is
strong.
 The company has its projects over many different countries that having a
huge coverage geographically.
 Even though the Mindsweep Insights is a new market research company
they have received many different projects across the globe and have
successfully satisfied their customers.
 Shift to technological advancement have enhanced the performance in
terms of time consumption and accuracy.
SUGGESTIONS
 In some areas, Mindsweep Insights should focus more on planning and
implementing effective marketing strategy.
 The Company should be reduce the operational costs to minimum costing
by involving more online interviews, etc.
 A misconduct in communication and timely updates leads to data
duplications. This should be taken into consideration.
 Existence of current companies and easily access to new entrants have
developed cut throat competition that creates a risk of customer switch. It
also involves competitive pricing strategies that has an impact on
monetary profits. This threat should be considered important and also
solutions should be ready whenever such situation arises.
 Biased responses that can hamper the accuracy level which leads to
negative outcomes and should be ready before this situation whenever it
arises.
CONCLUSION
The whole experience of working with Mindsweep Insights was great. This
organization has great minds and very high quality of work. I learned a lot
about the process of market research mainly management of projects,
business development in B2B and also gained some personal attainments
like improvement in interpersonal skills, alignment the work, to take
advantage of spontaneous opportunities that may arise, etc. I have been
through various strategy management and experienced first-hand
knowledge of the Market Research Organization.
Lastly, with the help of my company guide and my faculty guide with their
exemplary guidance and constant encouragement by them, I was able to
successfully complete my internship program and get the real picture
through Mindsweep Insights

  • 2. INTRODUCTION  Market research is one of the key factors used in maintaining competitiveness over competitors. Market research provides important information to identify and analyse the market need, market size and competition. Market-research techniques encompass both qualitative techniques such as focus groups, in- depth interviews, and ethnography, as well as quantitative techniques such as customer surveys, and analysis of secondary data.  Market research, which includes social and opinion research, is the systematic gathering and interpretation of information about individuals or organizations using statistical and analytical methods and techniques of the applied social sciences to gain insight or support decision making.  This study gives an overview of the projects that I worked on and the learning that I gained during my internship at Mindsweep Insights, Mumbai. I had worked on major project and few smaller projects as well.
  • 3.  Market research (or marketing research) is any set of techniques used to gather information and better understand a company’s target market. Businesses use this information to design better products, improve user experience, and craft a marketing message that attracts quality leads and improves conversion rates.  Project management is the process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.  Business development entails tasks and processes to develop and implement growth opportunities within and between organizations. It is a subset of the fields of business, commerce and organizational theory.

OBJECTIVES  To study the nuances of market research.  To conduct corporate sales (B2B).  To contact and communicate with people from the target group (i.e. leading healthcare companies, market research companies and consultancies) across the globe.  To conduct Project Management.  To conduct client servicing.
  • 5. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY  RESEARCH DESIGN:  EXPLORATORY METHOD: The main purpose of exploratory study is to formulate a problem for a more precise investigation or to develop working hypothesis. Exploratory study is the primary stage of research. Exploratory research is mostly qualitative.  SURVEY METHOD: Survey research is the systematic gathering of information from respondents for the purpose of understanding and/or predicting some aspects of the behavior of the population of interest. It is the most common method of collecting primary data for marketing decision. 1. Mail surveys 2. Online survey  DESCRIPTIVE METHOD: Descriptive Study determines and reports the way things are.Descriptive research is also known as ‘Statistical research’. It describes data and characteristics about the population or phenomenon being studied.
  • 6.  SOURCE OF DATA: The method adopted by the researcher to collect and study the required data. Observation Method • Secondary data  SAMPLE SIZE : The sample size is 100 respondents.  SAMPLING METHOD: Random sampling method was used.  SAMPLING UNIT: It means “who is to be surveyed”. Here target population is decided and it is who are interested to become associated with the Mindsweep Insights, a sampling frame is developed and thereafter live projects are to be wined.  SAMPLE SITE: The survey was conducted across the globe.

FINDINGS  There is a harmonious relationship is exist in the organization between the customers and company.  Mindsweep Insights are involved more in global market research and provide satisfactory results.  The company has a hold over different industries thus having wide scope exploration and specialization.  The company has Strong brand association.  It is found that the Strategic data acquisition of the Mindsweep Insights is strong.  The company has its projects over many different countries that having a huge coverage geographically.  Even though the Mindsweep Insights is a new market research company they have received many different projects across the globe and have successfully satisfied their customers.  Shift to technological advancement have enhanced the performance in terms of time consumption and accuracy.

SUGGESTIONS  In some areas, Mindsweep Insights should focus more on planning and implementing effective marketing strategy.  The Company should be reduce the operational costs to minimum costing by involving more online interviews, etc.  A misconduct in communication and timely updates leads to data duplications. This should be taken into consideration.  Existence of current companies and easily access to new entrants have developed cut throat competition that creates a risk of customer switch. It also involves competitive pricing strategies that has an impact on monetary profits. This threat should be considered important and also solutions should be ready whenever such situation arises.  Biased responses that can hamper the accuracy level which leads to negative outcomes and should be ready before this situation whenever it arises.
  • 10. CONCLUSION The whole experience of working with Mindsweep Insights was great. This organization has great minds and very high quality of work. I learned a lot about the process of market research mainly management of projects, business development in B2B and also gained some personal attainments like improvement in interpersonal skills, alignment the work, to take advantage of spontaneous opportunities that may arise, etc. I have been through various strategy management and experienced first-hand knowledge of the Market Research Organization. Lastly, with the help of my company guide and my faculty guide with their exemplary guidance and constant encouragement by them, I was able to successfully complete my internship program and get the real picture through Mindsweep Insights
