 Group Discussion is a
process where exchange
of ideas and oponion are
debated upon.
 It is a modern method to
judge students
personality and their
ability.
 This process is mostly used for selecting
candidates for admission to management
schools basically for MBA and Banking.
 The group will have 8 to 12 members who
will express their views ideas freely, frankly
in a friendly manner.
 Within in a time limit 20 to 30 minutes, their
ability are measured.
 Topic given by panelists.
 Planning and preparation.
 Knowledge with self-confidence.
 Communication skill will be strong.
 Body language and personal appearance.
 Being cool and careful.
 Subject matter is essential.
 Choose magazines that are rich in
content.
 Be aware of topics that are repeated.
 Work on your communication skill.
 Listen to the topic given during group
discission.
 Stimulation of thinking in anew way.
 Expansion of knowledge.
 Understanding of your strength and weakness.
 Academic knowledge.
 team work.
 General knowledge.

A presentation on group discussion

  • 2.  Group Discussion is a process where exchange of ideas and oponion are debated upon.  It is a modern method to judge students personality and their ability.
  • 3.  This process is mostly used for selecting candidates for admission to management schools basically for MBA and Banking.  The group will have 8 to 12 members who will express their views ideas freely, frankly in a friendly manner.  Within in a time limit 20 to 30 minutes, their ability are measured.
  • 4.  Topic given by panelists.  Planning and preparation.  Knowledge with self-confidence.  Communication skill will be strong.  Body language and personal appearance.  Being cool and careful.
  • 5.  Subject matter is essential.  Choose magazines that are rich in content.  Be aware of topics that are repeated.  Work on your communication skill.  Listen to the topic given during group discission.
  • 6.  Stimulation of thinking in anew way.  Expansion of knowledge.  Understanding of your strength and weakness.  Academic knowledge.  team work.  General knowledge.
