In healthcare, nanotechnology allows for earlier cancer detection, more targeted treatment, and improved heart disease control through new diagnostic tests and medical devices. While still in development, nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize energy production, consumer goods, agriculture, and medicine by exploiting matter at the microscopic scale.
