This document provides an overview of the book "A Course in Fuzzy Systems and Control" by Li-Xin Wang. The book is intended as a textbook on fuzzy systems and control. It is divided into six parts covering: (1) the mathematics of fuzzy systems and control, (2) fuzzy systems and their properties, (3) design of fuzzy systems from input-output data, (4) nonadaptive fuzzy control, (5) adaptive fuzzy control, and (6) miscellaneous topics. The book aims to systematically cover fundamental concepts and major results in fuzzy systems and control theory in a well-structured manner.
