This document presents a comparative analysis of power quality disturbances, specifically focusing on voltage variations such as swell, sag, and interruption, using MATLAB/Simulink simulations and mathematical models. The study includes the development of various simulation models to accurately replicate real-time power quality signals, with analysis conducted using spectrogram techniques to assess signal characteristics. Results demonstrate that the generated waveforms closely match actual power quality disturbances, thus supporting further analysis and understanding of these phenomena in power systems.
