Following are the projects where I was involved at least as a mechanical designer to core concept
developer, complete system design, product development, installation, commissioning as well as
product transfer.

Manufacturing Automation System:
• Automatic part loading/unloading system for automobile bell grinding machine (MUL)
• Automatic part loading/unloading system for automobile gear hobbling machine
  (EICHER)
• Retrofitting system for four axes vertical CNC milling machine (PRAVAK)
• Robotic shell making cell for investment casting of aircraft engine components
  (DMRL/IRIS)
• Robotic Arc welding station for tank haul manufacturing (HVF/IRIS)
• Robotic sealant dispensing system for automobile engine caps/covers (PRAVAK/MUL)

NDT and Inspection System:
• Robotic eddy-current inspection system (NPC/IRIS) (under development)
• Robotic ultrasonic C-scan system for composite aircraft components (HAL/IRIS)

Surgical Manipulation System:
• Position based active device for Laparoscopic Surgery Training System (IRIS)
• Image-guided Robotic HIFU System for Non-invasive Breast Cancer Surgery
   (NTU/A*STAR)
• Image-guided Hybrid Robotic System for Whole Body Cancer Treatment
   (NTU/A*STAR)
• Image-guided Robotic/Mechatronic System for Minimally-invasive Breast Cancer
   Surgery (NTU)
• Robotic Image guided Minimally-invasive Prostate Biopsy (NTU)

Pick & Place and Laboratory Automation System:
• Automatic part sorting, palletizing, and handling system for electro-plating process
   (PRAVAK)
• Automatic DNA holding microtiter plate stacker, sealing & de-sealing system (ESI/IRIS)
• Robotic hazardous material handling (4-axis pick & place robot) system (BARC &
   ORICOM)

Manufacturing Automation System: • Automatic part loading/unloading system for automobile bell grinding machine (MUL) • Automatic part loading/unloading system for automobile gear hobbling machine (EICHER) • Retrofitting system for four axes vertical CNC milling machine (PRAVAK) • Robotic shell making cell for investment casting of aircraft engine components (DMRL/IRIS) • Robotic Arc welding station for tank haul manufacturing (HVF/IRIS) • Robotic sealant dispensing system for automobile engine caps/covers (PRAVAK/MUL) NDT and Inspection System: • Robotic eddy-current inspection system (NPC/IRIS) (under development) • Robotic ultrasonic C-scan system for composite aircraft components (HAL/IRIS) Surgical Manipulation System: • Position based active device for Laparoscopic Surgery Training System (IRIS) • Image-guided Robotic HIFU System for Non-invasive Breast Cancer Surgery (NTU/A*STAR) • Image-guided Hybrid Robotic System for Whole Body Cancer Treatment (NTU/A*STAR) • Image-guided Robotic/Mechatronic System for Minimally-invasive Breast Cancer Surgery (NTU) • Robotic Image guided Minimally-invasive Prostate Biopsy (NTU) Pick & Place and Laboratory Automation System: • Automatic part sorting, palletizing, and handling system for electro-plating process (PRAVAK) • Automatic DNA holding microtiter plate stacker, sealing & de-sealing system (ESI/IRIS) • Robotic hazardous material handling (4-axis pick & place robot) system (BARC & ORICOM) Mechanism Designed: • Modular 2-axis gimbal • Modular Mechatronic joint with integral control electronics. • Cable Drive robot transmission system. • Modular 3-dof Pantograph Leg mechanism • Modular re-configurable Articulated Tracked Mobile Robot • Modular Wheel Drive System for electric wheel chair and AGV. • High speed, high resolution and low inertia camera and antenna pan/tilt system Product Developed: • Educational low cost 5-axis table top robot arm (patented/PRAVAK) • DC Servo articulated robot arm and accessories (patented/PRAVAK)
