This document advertises a four-part parenting series that will teach parents how to cope with negative feelings, deal with challenging situations and their own feelings, respond to problem behavior without punishment, and bring out a child's best when stuck in a bad pattern. The series will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm at the Everett Clinic Smokey Point Medical Center in Marysville, WA for parents of children ages 5-12, with each session covering a unique component of parenting.

Parenting is really tough because both parents and
children have feelings—opportunities for conflict
abound! Let’s be honest, kids don’t need to learn how
to be kids but parents do need to learn how to parent
effectively.
Join us for this four-part series and learn how to:
 Cope with your child’s negative feelings.
 Deal with challenging situations and your own
feelings.
 Respond to problem behavior without punishment.
 Bring out a child’s best when he or she is stuck in
a bad pattern.
Each session covers a unique component of parenting.
