1. HOW TO GET A FREE SECURITY SYSTEM DESIGN
960H is the new analog technology allowing cameras with compliant DVRs to reach ultra-high
resolutions, the highest TVL available to date. Rugged Cams wants to keep you informed of the latest
and greatest improvements in the business security camera industry. 960H represents the number of
horizontal pixels in the CCD image sensor and is the highest resolution available for analog CCTV.
Sony has developed the ability to reach these higher resolutions. The old standard of D1 (720x480) can
now be greatly improved with an HD Camera and a HD DVR to the (960x480) resolutions or 16:9
verses the old standard 4:3 images. This is approximately a 33% increase in picture size and viewing
area.
