9/11 reminds us how humanity can be slain easily. On the morning of September 11, 2001, 19
hijackers took control of four commercial planes from different airports on the east coast of United
States. Two of planes flown right into the twin towers of World Trade Center located in New York
with the third hitting the pentagon in Virginia. The fourth plane however never made it to the
intended location of attack and crashed in Pennsylvania possible due to the forced-march of the
passengers in the plane who took over the charge. The targeted areas had symbolic prestige United
States power and excellence whereas the Pentagon is the headquarters of the US Department of
Defense. Moments after the attack, the twin towers collapsed and damaged the surround buildings
badly leaving 3,000 and 19 hijackers lost. This is recorded to be the worst terrorist attack in the
history of United States after Pearl Harbor. It badly damaged and effected the economy
infrastructure. This news stormed throughout the world leaving people with grief. The suspicion
was fallen on Al-Qaeda, Islamist group led by Osama bi Laden who founded it in 1988. Al-Qaeda
tried to demolish the buildings back in 1993 when they had planted bombs in the parking, there
were possible reasons for their involvement with support of some government level agencies who
have been backing these radical groups since 90s.
A new genre of enemy was evolved to promote violence and massacre on the shoulders of religious
beliefs. Al-Qaeda accepted the responsibility of 9/11 attack and further conveyed verbal warnings
to United States to stop imposing legislations and constitutions, and intervention in other Arab
countries. President George W. Bush described the events of that day as “Evil despicable acts of
terror” further he added “US is at war with a new different kind of enemy” (BBC News, 2010).
Months after this attack, US decided to invade Afghanistan as the roots were there, Osama bin
Laden had setup a base where he trained many rebels and tenants. Al-Qaeda has a subdivision
known as Taliban who are spread in the Middle East covering Pakistan, Afghanistan and few other
countries. Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the September 11th attacks, remained at large
until May 2, 2011, when he was finally tracked down and killed by U.S. forces at a hideout in
Abbottabad, Pakistan. In June 2011.The invasion was supported by Anti-Taliban forces of
Afghanistan and till date US troops are fighting with these so called terrorists. Al-Qaeda had
attempted many attacks before 9/11 and their motive was to destroy US permanently, the effects
however was in the form of Islamophobia, health issues and economic famine for a time (9/11
attacks, History 2006). Many Islamic Societies disagree with the beliefs Al-Qaeda is carrying and
totally condemns the attacks considering it radical, unethical and non-religious. One of the biggest

effect of 9/11 was amongst the Muslims as all of them were considered Terrorists even if they do
not support Al-Qaeda. In addition to physical threats and attacks, Arabs and Muslim students also
faced enormous scrutiny from the authorities. People around the globe starting to take Islam as a
religion of Violence, it damaged the reputation and purity of Islam. Today it has become almost
impossible for them to restrain from it. This led other groups to emerge for the same cause as Al-
Qaeda with contradictory beliefs. Theorists and Researchers believe that 9/11 was an inside job
(R. Jackson et al, p. 227).
CIA and other defense agencies were directly/indirectly involved in 9/11 attack. After the attack,
a year or two later theorists and researchers began to collect data from the incident and gathered
enormous of data which claimed that CIA was well aware of the attack. Not to be forgotten, Osama
bin Laden was a former CIA agent/spy who worked them for many years. Nine Scholarly papers
were published with proof as a compendium in 2006 by Elsevier Science Press, suggesting US
complicity in a false flag operation. One of the best independent scientific research done so far is
by Dr. David Ray Griffin, he put forth the most challenging evidences regarding the attack which
consists of almost 10 books (Rowland Morgan and Ian Henshall, pg. 201-230) The 9/11
Commission report highlighted many questions but public were given only 60 days to question.
Unfortunately many of the raised questions were not answered as they might be leading to some
other conspiracies. These researches qualifies for best legitimate evidences of the involvement and
influential impact of US’s leading defense agencies. People suffered from affection of various
disorders and problems (Frank Legge & Tony Szamboti, ME).
9/11 attack additionally affected the health of millions, most of which suffered from serious health
problems. People were scared to travel by plane due to fear of terrorism. Post-traumatic stress was
the biggest effect of 9/11. Thousands of cases were reported of illness because of the toxic dust,
many suffered from asthma. There was a lack of support and preventive actions from the
authorities. People were suffering from depression, anxiety. People who spectated the collapse of
the twin towers had heart burn. Rate of people suffered 9/11 have increased 4% on global scale
(Lawson, 2013).
To wrap up, 9/11 led the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Osama bin Laden was killed in raid in
Pakistan and was thrown into the ocean. Muslims all over the world are now considered as
terrorists. The economy, health and financial markets were badly affected not only US but other

countries as well and still affected today. Leading governance was involved and supportive in this
attack. US agencies are funding many groups in Middle East to use Muslims for blood bath around
the world. Arabs and Muslims are being tortured, abused and restricted to enter in most of the
countries. The money-making authorities doesn’t want critical thinkers to figure it out how they
are being controlled. We need hope and a moral reason to live in this world peacefully. Tranquility
is the new name of fear.
