Osama Bin Laden The U.S. government considers Osama bin Laden to be the most dangerous terrorist in the world.  Attacks which bin Laden is believed to have plotted or inspired include the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, the 1995 truck bombing of a Saudi National Guard training center, and the 1998 explosions at U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.  September 2001 attacks that crippled the Pentagon and destroyed New York's World Trade Center.
War on America The suicide crews flew American planes into the World Trade Center buildings and the Pentagon on 9-11 shouting, "Allah is great."  The Qur’an is responsible for the long history of violence and the sayings and actions of Muhammad, himself. Osama bin Laden, with his group of "holy warriors" who had come from many Muslim communities around the world, issued a "fatwa."
War on America Cont. The message of Osama bin Laden that was forged in the fire of battle with the Soviet military strikes a deep, resonant chord in the hearts of young Muslims longing to restore the former glory of Islam.  About 15 percent of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world are now fundamentalists.  The other 85 percent of Muslims are not fundamentalists.
