The producer opened an audition file to piece together the recorded audio segments, using tools to cut out pauses and unwanted audio, crossfade between segments, and adjust volume levels to create a smooth final production. Editing can be done by using either the multitrack or waveform view in the software, allowing selection, deletion, and adjustment of individual audio clips.

I created a radio show trailer by mixing together various songs selected by my audience in a survey to make a set of songs with good transitions. I used a variety of songs to better engage listeners for the actual radio show. I trimmed the songs to the desired portions, placed them together with smooth transitions, and merged them into a single audio file to advertise my radio show.
