Verse: 45
• Reality of life
And present to them the example of the life of this world, [its being]
like rain which We send down from the sky, and the vegetation of the
earth mingles with it and [then] it becomes dry remnants, scattered by
the winds. And Allah is ever, over all things, Perfect in Ability.
Life is like Water

Verse: 46
• Value-Added life approach
Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the
enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for
[one's] hope.
“
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬ said:
“Whoever says Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu‟l-mulk wa
lahu‟l- hamd wa huwa „ala kulli shay‟in qadeer one hundred times in a day, it
will be as if he freed ten slaves, and one hundred hasanaat (good deeds) will
be recorded for him, and one hundred sayi‟aat (bad deeds) will be erased
from him, and it will be a protection for him against the Shaytaan all that day
until evening comes. No one can do anything better than that except one who
does more.”
(al-Bukhaari, 3119; Muslim, 2691 )
“
It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ said: “For every bone of
the son of Adam a charity must be given each day. Every tasbeehah [saying
Subhaan Allaah (Glory be to Allah)] is a charity, every tahmeedah [saying al-
hamdu Lillaah (praise be to Allah)] is a charity, every tahleelah [saying Laa
ilaaha ill-Allaah (There is no god but Allah)] is a charity, every takbeerah
[saying Allaahu akbar [Allaah is Most Great]) is a charity, enjoining what is
good is a charity, forbidding what is evil is a charity, and two rak‟ahs offered in
the mid-morning (Duha) is sufficient.”
(Muslim: 720 )
“
It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah said: The Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬
said: “O people, you should do whatever good deeds you can, for
Allah does not get tired (of giving reward) until you get tired. And
the most beloved of good deeds to Allah is that in which a person
persists, even if it is little.
(al-Bukhaari, 43; Muslim, 782 )

Verse: 47
• Some description from Qiyammah
And [warn of] the Day when We will remove the mountains and you
will see the earth prominent, and We will gather them and not leave
behind from them anyone.
Verse: 48
• Discipline on DOJ
And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, [and He will
say], "You have certainly come to Us just as We created you the first
time. But you claimed that We would never make for you an
appointment."
“
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬ said, “The people
will be assembled barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised.” I
said, “O Messenger of Allah, will the men and women look at
each other?” The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ said, “The matter will be too
serious for them to notice.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6075, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 5107)
Verse: 49
• Quantity & Quality exposed
And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the
criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us!
What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has
enumerated it?" And they will find what they did present [before
them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one.
“
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬ said: Allah Almighty will say
on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit
me. He will say: My Lord, how can I visit you when you are the Lord of the
worlds? Allah will say: Did you not know that my servant was sick and you did
not visit him, and had you visited him you would have found me with him? O
son of Adam, I asked you for food but you did not feed me. He will say: My
Lord, how can I feed you when you are the Lord of the worlds? Allah will say:
Did you not know that my servant asked you for food but you did not feed him,
and had you fed him you would have found me with him? O son of Adam, I
asked you for drink but you did not provide for me. He will say: My Lord, how
can I give you drink when you are the Lord of the worlds? Allah will say: My
servant asked you for a drink but you did not provide for him, and had you
given it to him you would have found me with him.
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2569)
Verse: 50
• Beginning of creation
And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and
they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed
from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his
descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you?
Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange.
Verse: 51
• Disclaimer
I did not make them witness to the creation of the heavens and the
earth or to the creation of themselves, and I would not have taken the
misguiders as assistants.
Verse: 52
• No assistance in any form
And [warn of] the Day when He will say, "Call 'My partners' whom
you claimed," and they will invoke them, but they will not respond to
them. And We will put between them [a valley of] destruction.
Verse: 53
• Facts in front of eyes
And the criminals will see the Fire and will be certain that they are to
fall therein. And they will not find from it a way elsewhere.
Verse: 54
• Arguments for sake of argument
And We have certainly diversified in this Qur'an for the people from
every [kind of] example; but man has ever been, most of anything,
[prone to] dispute.

Verse: 55
• Look into history and attitudes of people
And nothing has prevented the people from believing when guidance
came to them and from asking forgiveness of their Lord except that
there [must] befall them the [accustomed] precedent of the former
peoples or that the punishment should come [directly] before them.
Verse: 56
• Invalidating false with redicule
And We send not the messengers except as bringers of good tidings
and warners. And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood
to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth and have taken My verses,
and that of which they are warned, in ridicule.
Verse: 57
• Ignore what is important
And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the verses of his
Lord but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have put
forth? Indeed, We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they
understand it, and in their ears deafness. And if you invite them to
guidance - they will never be guided, then - ever.
“
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ‫ﷺ‬ said, “Verily,
when the servant commits a sin, a black mark appears
upon his heart. If he abandons the sin, seeks forgiveness,
and repents, then his heart will be polished. If he returns to
the sin, the blackness will be increased until it overcomes
his heart. It is the covering that Allah has mentioned: No,
rather a covering is over their hearts from what they have
earned.” (83:14)
(Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3334)
And whoever is blinded from remembrance
of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a
devil, and he is to him a companion.
(Az Zukhruf:36)
Verse: 58
• Personal Connection
And your Lord is the Forgiving, full of mercy. If He were to impose
blame upon them for what they earned, He would have hastened for
them the punishment. Rather, for them is an appointment from which
they will never find an escape.
