Continuous monitoring of large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) installations is necessary to check the deterioration and monitor the performance of the PV plant. Fault diagnosis is crucial to ensure the PV plant operates safely and reliably. This paper presents a diagnosis methodology based on currentvoltage (I-V) and PV characteristics to monitor and assess the behavior of solar PV. In this paper, I-V curve characterization using an I-V curve tracer is used to check the deterioration and diagnosis of the PV panels. The realtime performance of the 50.4 kWp rooftop solar grid interfaced PV plant is investigated and analyzed using I-V and PV curve tracers in real-time conditions. The overall performance of solar PV is assessed on a real-time test system in different scenarios such as variable climatic conditions, partial shading conditions, aging of solar panels, short circuit conditions, and dust decomposition. Furthermore, the performance assessment of solar PV is evaluated using performance indicators such as open circuit voltage index, short circuit current index, fill factor, and performance ratio.
Photovoltaic System with SEPIC Converter Controlled by the Fuzzy LogicIAES-IJPEDS
In this work, a fuzzy logic controller is used to control the output voltage of a
photovoltaic system with a DC-DC converter; type Single Ended Primary
Inductor Converter (SEPIC). The system is designed for 210 W solar
photovoltaic (SCHOTT 210) panel and to feed an average demand of 78 W.
This system includes solar panels, SEPIC converter and fuzzy logic
controller. The SEPIC converter provides a constant DC bus voltage and its
duty cycle controlled by the fuzzy logic controller which is needed to
improve PV panel’s utilization efficiency. A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is
also used to generate the PWM signal for the SEPIC converter.

step- up and high efficiency DC/DC converters is the major consideration in the renewable power applications
due to the low voltage of PV arrays and fuel cells. The conventional boost converters increase the harmonics
rate and add an extra stage of power conversion. This paper proposes a boost dc-ac inverter that can invert and
boost the output voltage in a single stage. In this paper the proposed boost dc-ac inverter is applied to the solar
power panels and is simulated using Simulink. The output results of the boost inverter are worthy promising.
This is our 3rd semester project of electronics-1 which is a mobile battery charger with night switch as load circuit, it will work as a ups the night switch works on input 220 volt supply and when we cut off the supply it continues it working on battery power and vice virsa.
The performance of PV panel is very much dependent on the amount of sun light as well as the temperature of the surrounding environment which normally hard to be predicted. The use of PV emulator in the investigation of solar inverter especially at a lab scale platform helps to mitigate the inconsistency factors due to this uncontrollable variation. This work discussed on the design and development of a PV emulator for the grid-connected quasi-Z-source inverter which has different topology and control method compared to the conventional voltage source inverter. The I-V characteristics of the PV panel is modelled from the commercially available product and through circuit analysis the relation between capacitor voltage control and the PV terminal voltage is established, thus realizing the MPPT operation. Results from both simulation and experimental verification demonstrated that the PV emulator successfully able to produce power for the inverter according to the requirement.

Over the years, there have been a gradual increase in the electricity generation capacity of Nigeria, with more gas power plants installed between 1999 2003 to augment power supply from the existing hydro and thermal power plants installed in the 1970s but despite gradual increase in Mega Watts MW of electric power generated, Nigerian electricity consumers continue to experience epileptic and unreliable power supply distribution. As at today, the power distribution companies referred to as the DISCOs supply epileptic or skeletal power to their customers which they termed 'load shading’. This term explains a situation whereby a power consumer or customer can obtain a power ration for some hours in the day and do not have power remaining hours in the day. Because of this, many consumers depend on generating sets as alternative source of power. This is inefficient and costly to maintain. Today it is possible to introduce the electric power inverter which converts battery DC voltage to AC voltage. Inside the inverter can be coupled an electric charging system which can charge the battery when there is power supply from utility power source. When this power source fails, the battery in turn supplies the inverter with DC which is being converted to A.C sometimes the inverter can also be connected to renewable energy source like solar, wind etc. These sources ensures an all round supply of DC for the inverter. Renewable energy can be particularly suitable for developing countries such as Nigeria where public power supply is totally unreliable. In response to the yearning of the majority of Nigerians for a steady power supply, this research paper tries to contribute in a little way by designing and constructing a 0.75KVA inverter to power homes and offices. The paper starts by defining what an inverter is, reviewed similar past works in literature, and it explained the principles of operation and components used with its circuit diagram. I was assigned responsibility power supply. A power supply is a device that supplies
electrical energy to one or more electric loads. The term is most commonly applied to devices that
convert one form of electrical energy to another, though it may also refer to devices that convert
another form of energy (e.g., mechanical, chemical, solar) to electrical energy. A regulated power
supply is one that controls the output voltage or current to a specific value; the controlled value is
held nearly constant despite variations in either load current or the voltage supplied by the power
supply's energy source.
This device have 5V 9V 12V and 4.5V. Which 5V be used IC7805, 9V be used IC7809,
and 12V get by circuit IC7809. Circuit use a DC circuit get by brigde regulator. And 4.5V get
by LM317.
