5000 tpd urea plant
A 5000 ton per day urea plant concept is presented that aims to lower fabrication costs through economies of scale. This mega plant concept uses proven individual process steps that do not require scaling up from a 4000 ton plant. It also incorporates features like a double high pressure carbamate condenser for energy savings. The licensors have converted a conventional plant into this larger mega plant design to take advantage of the benefits of increased capacity like greater energy efficiency and productivity.

- 2. Now a daysthere is a competition for mega plants capacity 5000-5500 TPD. To lower urea fabrication costs through the means of economy of scale, The urea licensers has developed mega plant concept. This concept (5000 MTPD) is based on proven process steps. All individual process steps are commercially proven and no scale-up of equipment used in a 4000 mtpd plant is needed to satisfy the equipment requirements for a 5000 mtpd plant using this new concept. The double H.P. Carbamate condenser also used for energy saving. The Licensers has revamped a conventional urea plant into the mega Plant. The Large capacity plants are always beneficial for energy saving and productivity. The simple change can be done like Vortex mixture and booster HET can be changed to increase the efficiency and productivity.
