Nathan Mead is planning a photo shoot for a fashion magazine cover featuring clothing items. He will use a medium close-up shot to showcase detailing on the clothing. A white background and modern font were chosen to reinforce the magazine's focus on current trends. All color schemes incorporate white to allow other colors to stand out against the background. Precautions are outlined to prevent issues like equipment failure or health and safety concerns during the planned one-day shoot.
2. Style sheet
I am going to take a shot of the
model at a medium close-up
range so you can see the
detailing on the clothing easier.
This will help people be able to
view the item better so they
can judge wheather they like it
or no with more precision
I have decided to use a more modern font as
It goes with the minimalistic design I want to have
As the font is very simple but can still stand out if
You place It right. And also the mag cover is about
Current trends so using a modern font would help
Reinforce he idea this magazine is keeping up with
the times
3. Style Sheet
All the colour schemes I am willing to implement
All have a repeating colour; white. This is because white
Allows for the expression of the other colours more, so I can
Draw focus to other parts of the cover by using bright colours
And having a white background will help enhance those colours.
4. Layout 1
Subheading realating

Text about why its

5. Layout 2
Subheading about
the famous model
Text about their
relevancy and what
they are doing
e.g. the model here is
doing a campaign for
converse one star so
the subheading will
most likely be a play on
words based on the
campaign
6. Props & Locations
Props/equipment /
Costume needed
Locations needed
A model to wear the clothing A place with a white background and high
quality lighting
Clothing items for the model to wear A place for the model to get changed
DSLR Camera No specific location needed
A tripod No specific location needed
Large light lamp Shining onto the white background to
allow better photos to be taken
7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
The camera battery could die mid shoot make sure to bring at least 2 extra batteries
that are fully charged so you can simply swap
them with the dead battery and continue the
shoot
When I go to shoot in college we may not
have access to the correct equipment
Check before hand to see if the equipment is
able to be provided by the college, and if its
already in use improvise by using something like
a white wall
models have to cancel or turn up too late ensure you have extra people to model for you
in case this happens, and make sure they are
able to come in whenever you need
The sd card may potentially be full To make sure this problem doesn’t occur, bring
extra sd cards so you can swap them out and
continue the shoot
Studio may be booked make sure I have booked in advance so I can
secure a space
8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Fire hazard if the lamps fell onto the white
sheet background
Double check the stands for the lamps and
make sure they are stable, and also make sure
nobody walks into them causing them to fall
Eye damage from the lamps Allow the model to take breaks in-between
shots so they don’t have prolonged exposure to
the large lamps to avoid eye damage
Tripping over the surrounding wires from
things such as the lamps
make sure all wires are either move to a place
where they cant interfere with anyone walking,
or make it clear to people in the area that there
are lose wires around and that they should take
extra precaution
The model may be epileptic Question the model(s) about this before hand
so when the flash comes on the model doesn’t
have a bad reaction

Editor's Notes
Explore colours, fonts and image styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss all three elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to
