5. This is a journal entry of your life, five years from today. Take out 30 minutes from your
day. Go somewhere that gives you the space to dream. Put yourself one year in the
future and visualise where you are and what you have achieved. Then write from the
heart what has happened, how it happened, and how you feel about it. There are some
pointers along the way, but add whatever you need to add to the vision, and don’t stop
until you are totally inspired by the destination you are setting:

9. I am so grateful for the last five years because I’ve been able to play my part in making
history. As I celebrate the new year diving with my family in the Maldives, I feel so grategul
to have been able to play such a big part in the education revolution that began in 2021.
After Genius Group had its IPO, it grew from $300m to $3 billion in value with its growth co-
funded by its students. We’ve impacted the lives of over 20 million students and built over
$300 billion in new value through their initiatives and enterprises.
I’m also invested in the DeFi movement, showing entrepreneurship and investing is a very
real alternative to a 9 to 5 job. I’ve grown the size of our family office’s investment portfolio
with the help of my children to $1 billion in value with a 20% annual cash return, and we’re
putting 90% of that into the Hamilton Foundation, to fund education scholarships..
My dream of designing and building my own home on the beach has happened ahead of
schedule and I’m looking forward to writing my journal and plan the next 5 years as I watch
the sunrise over the ocean.

Which exponential waves are my enterprises and investments a part of?
We are riding on the two waves of the education revolution and the entrepreneur
movement. The tech waves we are riding are EdTech, the Metaverse and AI
What is the speed and size of this wave be?
The EdTech wave is disrupting a $10 trillion industry, and will revolutionize education in
the coming decade. The Metaverse will be bigger than the Internet within 10 years.
What is my future vision for the impact of this wave?
By 2030 we will be living, learning, earning and connecting on the Metaverse.
Metalearning will take over from academic learning, and lifelong learning will be the
standard. As Alvin Toffler said: “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who
cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”
