2. Quaynote Communications in association with
YachtMedia are running a two day conference
programme alongside the 2015 Palma Superyacht
Show on 30th April and 1st May 2015. This is
followed by an optional Golf / Networking day on
Saturday 2nd May, which is open to all delegates
and participants, with tuition for aspiring golfers.
This is the first time that dedicated international
forums specifically for professionals in the
superyacht industry have been staged concurrently
with the Palma Boat Show, and the events have
been enthusiastically greeted by the Balearic Yacht
Brokers Association who organise the Superyacht
Show, and MYBA their umbrella trade association
who have both offered their support for the program.
The Balearic Nautical Business Association (AENIB) and the Spanish Superyacht Association (AEGY)
have also pledged their support, as have the Balearic Government and its Port Authority, all of whom will
have representatives speaking at, or attending the conferences.
Given the increased attendance at the Palma Superyacht Show and the high proportion of superyacht
captains participating, it is expected that The Future of Refit & Repair, and The Future for Captains
and Crew will be well-attended by this exclusive target market, as well as by brokers, charterers, yards,
designers, crew companies, suppliers, corporate service providers, associations and managers.
Furthermore, the program will offer a business
efficient option for overseas visitors to combine their
attendance at one or both of the conferences and
the golf day, whilst still having time to visit the
Superyacht Show and the 32nd Boat Show Palma
which will run until Monday 4th May.
The venue is close to the Palma Boat Show site on
the Paseo Maritimo, at the recently refurbished four
star Melia Palace Atenea Hotel, with its first class
conference facilites and executive standard
accomodation.
