Final Proposal for FMP
1
Working Title:
The Fashion Queen I called it this because in just two words this is what the magazine is about,
and it’s about the fashion story of Princess Diana who was the queen of fashion and during her
marriage to Prince Charles people thought around that time she was going to become queen of
England.
Product’s Purpose:
The purpose is that it’s a magazine to entertain fashionistas and make younger people love
Diana’s fashion and how it changed the Royal Family.
Genre:
It’s a print-based magazine will be bought in newsagents, and it will be a monthly issue.
Content
It will be about Diana’s fashion story, it would compare Kate’s fashion to Diana’s and it would look
at how The Crown represented Diana’s fashion.
Audience:
The gender for this magazine will be female and the age range will be primary and the ages 18-24
so I will make the magazine more colourful and fun, and the secondary audience are people over
60 so I will make sure Diana is on the cover. Social status will be lower middle class basically
people who want to learn and copy Diana’s style.
Psychographic are belongers both groups who like fashion and those who follow The Royal
Family.
Research and Planning:
I have looked at my research results the people who answered were mainly 18-24, this is the age
I’m aiming so it should be a good representation. I’m going to do include a lot of pictures because
they said having a model on the front is important, they also said pink was good because it’s a
feminine colour and it will stand out well and I’m going to put my name on the cover. And on my
double page spread I will include how Diana is most remembered for her fashion and work with
charities.

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
There will be no offensive language mentioned in the magazine, there will be nothing to upset
children if they get hold of the magazine nothing to upset anyone’s religious points of view. If this
magazine is going to be sold in shops I’ll make sure that the pictures I use don’t have copyrights
and are free to use.
