Visible light is the part of the electromagnetic spectrum that humans can see. White objects appear white because they reflect all colors of light, while black objects absorb all colors and appear black. The primary colors of light are red, green, and blue, and mixing them produces white, whereas the primary colors of pigment are magenta, cyan, and yellow which produce black when mixed. Color blindness refers to the inability to distinguish between some colors.
